To make a positive impact
on our local and global ecosystem we have to start with care for the spaces
we spend the most time in. At OLYecology we believe that the places we live
and work in are a direct reflection of the kind of world we’ll ultimately
live in. So instead of chaos, waste and clutter, the office and meeting space
at OLYecology is an often changing place of greenery and artistry.
By the end of 2005 OLYecology will be moving into a new office space in downtown Olympia. We’re planning for a building with a wheel chair accessible rooftop garden, lots of windows for indoor plants, also a Pacific Northwest (PNW) forest ecology library. To get the best downtown space possible OLYecology has teamed up with many local Olympia non-profits groups and we hope to announce our new location in less than a month. This means we need your help! Everything from carpentry to fundraising, to artistry to bookkeepers, even dumpster divers are needed!
